Geoff Murray hacked

Received this email supposedly from Geof Murray;

I just arrived in Spain and I am in a fix. Can I get a loan of 2,400 Euro or whatever amount if not all. You’ll have it as soon as I get back. It’s really urgent, please get back to me asap if you can. I will advise on how you can get it to me.

Just in case you are not aware emails like this are a result of someone hacking into Geoff’s account, stealing all his email addresses and sending each one a begging letter. I have just spoken to Geoff and he confirms he has been hit and also that he cannot access his emails for 24 hours.

• DO NOT REPLY TO THE EMAIL!,and
• In due course Geoff will contact everyone and explain – by then the hack will be corrected
