A blast from the past

Distinguished Conduct Medal winners, Staff Sergeant Ronald Allan, DCM, of Holsworthy, NSW (left), and Warrant Officer Class 2 Dan Neville, DCM, of Holsworthy, NSW, chat with the Governor, Sir Roden Cutler, VC, after the investiture at Government House, Sydney – 15th April, 1969.

Both are members of the 7th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (7RAR), and received their awards for service in Vietnam.

Ron Allan received his award for action with 7RAR on the 1st tour.  Click here to see his citation.
