Alan Talbot was killed by a mine in February 1971 and as he was from Yorkshire England he had no family in Australia. The Recce boys did him proud and recently commemorated his sacrifice at the Fawkner Cemetry in Melbourne. The local Vietnamese supported the day that was organized by Melton RSL. The Melton crew did a great job and they should be proud of how the days memorial service went.
We will never forget!
