Invite: Memorial Dedication

This Friday, 24 March 2017, The Governor General will dedicate a new RAR Memorial at Ferguson Park, Enoggera.

The Memorial was a project started and managed by Brigadier Neil Weekes who tragically died recently.  The National Memorial Walk, located within Enoggera Barracks, has become difficult to visit due to increasing security requirements, thus the necessity for an easily accessible memorial external to the barracks.

The dedication will commence at 10:00 hrs on Friday and will last for approximately 40 minutes

I realize this is late notice if you haven’t been made aware of the event through other means but I will be in attendance and would hope other members who are resident in Brisbane would have the time to attend as well.
