Vale: WO1 Gary Sutherland

WO1 G. (Gary) J. Sutherland OAM, AATTV.

Gary died recently on 26 November in Perth.  He didn’t serve with 7RAR but he was  a Regimental legend and a lot of the older Pigs will remember him. He is being buried in Karrakatta, WA on  Friday 7th December.

Gary served in South Vietnam as a WO2 with AATTV from 25 Jun 1970 with AATTV RF Training, Cho Gao, Dinh Tuong, then Aug – Apr 70 NOTT, Dong Tam, IV Corps. He was wounded in action at Dong Tam on 21 Apr 71 and medevac to Australia on 4 May 1971. Gary was the RSM 8/9 RAR  in 1975/1976
