The president of Yamba RSL Sub Branch sent me bad news.

I met Brian Boughton at Albury this week and he has asked me to notify you that Bommer is in poor health. He has pancreatic cancer and is no longer receiving radiation or chemo, it is only now a matter of time. Bomber intends go with dignity. 

Will advise as more info comes to hand.
