A former 7 RAR Soldier Wins Sword of Honour and Queen’s Medal at Royal Military College (RMC) Graduation
In an unusual double, Senior Under Office Matthew Benn was awarded the Sword of Honour for exemplary conduct and performance of duty and the Queen’s Medal for the highest aggregate marks in First and Second Class at the RMC Graduation on 11th December.
The sword and medal were presented by General Sir Peter Cosgrove.
Matthew Benn served with 7 RAR in Afghanistan. He was commissioned as a lieutenant and assigned to Infantry with a posting to 6RAR
